Full House

Some people think we are a little crazy. They might be right. We love people. We love chaos. We love activity. We love to be busy.

That's why when our friends and their two kids needed a place to stay for a few weeks while the remodel on their house is completed, we jumped up and said "Stay with us!" The poor fools took us up on it. They have been staying in our downstairs spare room and office for a couple of weeks now. Oh, did I mention that they also brought with them their dog and two cats. Oh and that Lara's brother came back last week from a year and half in New Zealand, and is also living with us. And that he brought his fiance with him?

Can you imagine mealtimes in our house at the moment? It is a bit like a zoo, but amazingly we are all getting along great. Toby has his best friend Jonah around 24-7, so is in heaven, and the twins always seem to have a pair of arms nearby to swoop them up, so they are happy. Our dogs are grateful to have two more kids around because it means more scraps falling from the table. The only one who seems really to have her nose out of joint by our visitors is Frankie our temperamental tabby cat. But then, she always seems to have her nose out of joint about something!
