Toby Visits Santa

This weekend Toby met Santa for the first time! Toby announced that although he'd like a dolly, some trucks and maybe some blocks, he REALLY wants is his two front teeth and Santa's beard. That thing is really cool to pull on.
We tried not to completely overwhelm the Boy this weekend, but failed miserably. He had his 6 mo. shots on Friday and is in the middle of his first real cold. Oh, yeah, and that teething bit. Life is rough for little guys. Especially when there's shopping to be done, cookies to bake and raspberries to blow. In between naps, Tylenol doses and nose suctioning we got quite a bit accomplished. Toby's officially heavy enough to be called a sack of potatoes--he's now 15lb2oz and 27in long. Or, should we call him a string bean?
The biggest news of the weekend is that our friends in Ohio had their twins around 2am on Saturday! Little girl Reese (5lb8.25oz, 19in) and little boy Austin (5lb3.5oz, 19in) join their big sis, Spencer, at the happy Yates-Hawkins household. We cannot wait to meet them this July!
We have much news to share of our Thanksgiving visit. That will be next!

What a cute picture!! He looks quite happy to be with Santa, yet ready to move on with the next adventure.
I was just watching Oprah, whose guest was Jo Frost ("Supernanny") - and I am so thrilled to think that Toby will NEVER be allowed to be such an evil out-of-control monster as the children there. And not just because I think Sadie's accent is something like Jo Frost's! :-)
