Christmas in Wyoming!

You may ask, "WHY-OMING????"
Yes, dear friends, we left the temperate Northwest and made our way to freaking cold Wyoming for Xmas. Mama's brother T and his wife landed there this summer, both with new jobs at a local community college. This was after being displaced from Hurricane Katrina and spending 9 months with Auntie J's parents! Thank goodness they had a place to go and thank goodness they finally found a place for them both to have jobs!
Highlights of the Trip:
-NOT getting kicked off the plane for nursing my child
-Thank goodness for the invention of mini DVD players and Elmo

-Central heating
-T seeing his first Live Bunny hopping through the snow
-T getting to know his Uncle T and Aunt J, and vice-versa
-T learning about opening gifts and being too excited about the wrapping paper with Frosty The Snowman to actually open the gifts
-T playing catch with Grandpa

-T learning about parrots from Mango (T and J's bird) and the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill (http://www.markbittner.net/parrots_central.html)
-All of us going to the Buffalo Bill Natural History Museum and Toby being entertained for 3 (THREE) hours!
-Mum and Mama being able loll around the house in their PJs for most of the holiday

What more can you ask for?? Thanks to our wonderful family for a wonderful visit!

Grandma and Grandpa were so excited that Toby and his Mums were going to be able to come to Wyoming at Christmas. It was so hard to leave them earlier that this just made our trip. Although we had to say "good-bye" again.

Love you, Grandma
